These terms and conditions apply to the booking of any corporate golf day at Remuera.
CONFIRMATION
All bookings are provisional until confirmed in writing by the client. Provisional bookings will only be held for 14 days unless alternative arrangements have been agreed. The Club reserves the right to release provisional bookings if a deposit and / or letter of confirmation has not been received. No booking is confirmed until the deposit and / or the booking condition acknowledgement form is signed and returned.
All clients must pay a deposit, based upon 25% of the Course Hire Fee or $20 per golfer. The deposit will be deducted from the overall cost of your event. All clients must sign and return the booking slip to acknowledge that they have read and understood the terms and conditions of business of Remuera Golf Club.
Holes in One
Remuera Golf Club is obliged, under the Rules of Amateur Status as endorsed by NZ Golf, to ensure that prizes are not given to amateur golfers with a value exceeding $1500.00. If you wish to issue a prize which exceeds this figure, please discuss this with our Golf Manager.
Dress Code
Remuera Golf Club requires a high standard of dress at all times. Smart casual golf attire must be worn on the course with shirts having collars, and soft spiked golf shoes mandatory. Not permitted on either the course or in the clubhouse are Jeans, Football Jerseys, Tracksuits or Beachwear.
Mobile phones in the clubhouse or on the course are not encouraged but if necessary, players should first seek approval for surrounding others or isolate themselves for the group.
CANCELLATIONS
If more than four months notice of a cancellation is received in writing, the deposit will be returned to the client. If less than four months notice is received, full payment ( for the numbers of golfers at the appropriate package rate ) will be levied as a cancellation fee.
In the event of bad weather, where Remuera Golf Club closes the course or declares the course unfit for play, the deposit will be returned to the client conducting the day or an alternative day may be arranged and the agreement of the client.
Catering arrangements may continue at the discretion of the client or the client may cancel catering only where the club has closed the course without penalty.
In the event the client wishes to cancel the event due to potential or actual bad weather and where the club continues to make the course available, the client will be required to pay the full amount of the total account.
FINAL / MINIMUM NUMBERS
Numbers of golfers may change by a maximum of 10% from that originally booked. Final numbers should be notified 5 working days prior to your day. This will be the minimum number charged for in the event of further changes. (This figure, cannot be lower than 90% of the original number booked.)
LIABILITY
The Club accepts no responsibility for loss or damage to any property of the customer or its guests other than such as may be caused as a direct result of any negligent or fraudulent act or omission of the Club.
Any damage to the building or its contents caused by the customer or its guests is the responsibility of the customer.
The customer agrees to pay the Club the full cost of any Club property, which is stolen, or damaged beyond repair.
Where property is damaged yet repairable the customer will pay all costs incurred to rectify the damage.
PAYMENT TERMS
Final payment (less deposit) for food, beverage and green fees will be required no later than 14 days after the event has been held
